Teenage daughter dating older boy

Published: 24.05.2017

I notice his sincerity and kinda feel bad for him. My ex and i havent been together for almost two years i left to better myself and when i decided to come back he moved on was in that relationship the time i left.

Should you allow your teenage daughter to date an older boy? It is a question facing many parents, find advice for approaching this tricky situation.

The situation at home with my partner over the months got worse, I found myself defending this monster.

We have had much counselling over the years for our family for anxiety and her behavioural problems but nothing has helped. Could any boy her age do that for her. You may want to talk to those who have known this person for some time, such as mature ones in the congregation. Stick to your decision. Why do people always assume the girl is being exploited by older man?

However, you will be pleased to know that I have let it go.

Conversations and openess go along way. So sorry we didn't draw the line, we might not be going through all this heart ache now. Unfortunately, my daughter is now living with this man. She may feel like her parents don't care about her happiness or that they simply do not like the boy. That is my concern with him.

For example horse riding or a sport that gets her out of the house and away from him. I had a similar experience with a 18 year old high school senior who was involved with an older, married man.
